Search Types

Partial Accession Number Search

The search 'PDS21' (without the quotes) will match PDS Accession Number in the year 2021.

Species Search

Canine in the basic search will match canine submissions. Be careful though because Canine will first try to match owners (e.g. Canine Rescue) or animal names (ex. Canine 1).

Owner Search

Smith, for example, will match 'Jack Smith' and 'Smith, Jill', and 'Jack/Jill Smith' but 'Jack Sm' may not match what you are expecting.

Animal Name Search

Kay will match animals named Kay, however, it will try to match owners named MacKay. If your animal’s name is part of a common owner name, then use the advanced search.

Clinic Number Search

If your clinic uses a clinic number, that feature is available in basic or advanced search.

Project Search

If you are participating in a project with PDS then you may also use the project number you have been assigned.
